From the Back Bar to the Cavern Club

25 April 2007

A WESTON band will soon be playing at a venue made famous by The Beatles.

Adam Lipinski will be fronting his new band at the Back Bar in the High Street on Friday night as a warm-up for their forthcoming gig at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool on May 20.

It will be the first time the new line-up has played in front of an audience and will be used as a working rehearsal for the show in the old stomping ground of the Fab Four.

The band will play a set of original music at the Weston gig, with Adam's younger brother Alex, from the popular Lipinski duo, playing a set of his own songs before joining Adam on stage.

Weston singer/songwriter Matt Wescott will take to the stage to kick off proceedings at around 9.30pm.

Adam, aged 27, has been writing and performing original material for the last 10 years both as the lead singer of a rock 'n' roll band and more recently as a solo artist. His music is mainly acoustic driven and he draws on various styles including folk, alt-country and classic melodic guitar bands.
